Everybody has an opinion. Is there a reason you are so angry with people who have absolutly no immediate effect on your life? Maybe Francis wants more of his brothers time and feels he is competing with a website. In what way do you mean "living off the goverment"? If you mean Nam Vets ( which would be about the right age for a 60s hippy) I think if the goverment was giving them enough money to 'live' we wouldn't see so many of them on the highway holding up "please help" signs. Or maybe you mean disabled people who get a state check to 'live' on. Gee, I wish I was physically or mentally handicapped so I could get a 600.00 dollar A MONTH check and never hope to have more. Welfare? mmm? yeah, It would be my first choice to be a single parent with a bunch of kids I can't feed because the other parent won't help out or not be able to work because I can't afford child care. You talk alot of hate, but what do you really know. Maybe you should take a lesson from your brother and try to think out of the box. And if you can find some peace and love in the chaos we live in, why not grab on for all your worth.
Hey Cherryrose, Very nicely put. Put some perspective into the mix. Those crazy spoonfed kids only worry about themselves and the opinons of others. I was one of them once upon a time. Then my parents kicked me out of the house acouple months after I graduated highschool. It brought me into reality very quick. I never did go back and live there again. I barly held head above water, but I made it. Life is all about decisions we make daily that effect your future. Whether they're good or bad choices there are always repercussions. Cause and effect. And another thing, you don't have to smoke pot daily to be a hippy. It's all about your personal views and actions. .
