ive finally sorted some pictures for this thread so i hope they come out all right,i think i am at the stage where i need to do some triming or pruning but am unsure exactly where and how to do this. i notice i have some big leaves comin off the main stem which seem to be restricting some of the lower branches to develope, should i take these off,any advice would be much appreciated thnx
those plants look great so far brother! Keep up the good work =D here is nice FAQ at overgrow.com about FIMing which I highly recommend =P FIMing tech Also, are those clones, femenized, or trial run and going to sex shortly??
they are from seed, mainly as a trial run really,i bought them from a shop so i am hopin they are fem but i will find out in a couple of weeks when i got to 12/12
could someone plz tell me if i need to prune the larger leaves to let the lower branches grow,im getting increasingly concerned that they are not goin to grow as they should thnx,oh and those pics were only taken 3 days ago and the little babies are getting bigger by the day
Hey Spoons - Nice looking plants you got there! What set up you using (lights, Nutrients etc & what sort of plants are they?) as far as trimming off the big fan leaves my advice would be to leave well alone unless they are unhealthy as the big leaves gather all the goodness out of the light, after you've switched to 12 & 12 if they are getting in the way of the buds then trim them off. Hope this helps some (another piece of advice is to get a good book like 'Indoor Marijuana Horticulture' by Jorge Cervantes) Jon.
the light i am using is a 600w metal halide with a high out put, im using formulex nutrients which is an all in one and the plants are B-52,ive been constantly lookin on the net for pictures of other plants of the same variety but with not much luck, but here are some more pics of mine, only a few days on from the last but i think noticably different.
Spoons,I have only 1 question, why do you want to do any pruning, you have to have a reason to and I see none as those plants look fine and in my opinion need no pruning!
