By the way, there's also the possibility of the "kiddie porn" site being a trap set up by the LEA, too. The internet has come a long way, I'll tell you this much.

 

Porn ads, with penis enlargement ads and armed service ads, are quickly checked as spam, replied to with obnoxious liberlesque retorts and displacements of their own phrases, then deleted.
I used to receive about four or five armed service spam-mails a month. After about the tenth one that I "edited" and replaced the pictures on before firing it off to the "questions and comments" address at the bottom of the message, I stopped getting them. I doubt there's a correlation, but it's still a fun story to tell.

I wont play games with them. The problem there is most of those are addressed to a similar address. Once you respond they know it's a valid working address, and you are amplifying your problem. The ones I will reply to are the nigerian scams. I actually have a form letter I use to reply to their wired money scams. You can use it if you'd like, the next time you get an urgent letter from General Mbopo's grieving widow. I still hold out hope for a reply one day.

I've gotten some rediculous things in emails, but never kiddie porn.

They say that Murder the the worst crime, rape is the second worst, and kidnapping the the third worst, but I think rape vs. kidnapping depends on the situation.

after being a rape crisis counselor and counseling children that had been raped and molested, i too hate kiddie porn. it bothers me that you only have to 13 years old to write and read on these forums, but yet there is the sex porn so explicit, and a 13 year old girl posting nude photos of herself, that just makes me cry. i would hate for my grandkids to ever see or read the things that are on the sex forums here, and my oldest grandchild is 12 only one year younger than this 13 year old girl.

No, that one actually came with a sample photo. And the return IPs are usually faked. So putting up a block is not a solution.This one was a .ru which is Russian. I never visit porno sites and I always forward this crap to the authorities/feds, and ISP's if applicable.. I doubt they would be targeting me. Then again they have wasted tax dollars before. I get tons of penis enlargement shitand misspelled viagggggra, v!c0dln ads everyday. I use SBC YAHOO! e-mail and they do a really excellent job of filtering out spam and putting it in the junk mail box. Then a quick glance down the list and a delete and I'm done with it. None of it really bugs me except for the kiddy stuff. I don't consider capital punishment a deterrent to crime, but I have no problem with some of these sickos getting sent to hell with a note from the governor. They are no less a threat to society than a rabid dog. IMO
