    Hello everyone :)

I'm getting tired of my hair and I really dig the dread style. I was wondering if my hair were long enough to consider doing locks. However my problem would be that my hair are very thin, example there is a lot of wind, they all start jumping around and I look like an idiot. But maybe dreads can eliminate this problem for me as they are more ''solid'' and stay more or less in place.

Here is a pic of my hair when I massage it for a few minutes making it pretty thick and wavy. Would you think it's long enough ?

    Thx.

I dunno.. If I were you I'd wait a little longer.. Because your hair will probably shrink too. But you can always try ;) Do you want naturals, or backcombing or do you want to tie them together?

I'm not sure what the difference is.

Natural: just let it grow ;) Check the natural topic.
Backcombing: You pick some hair, comb it backwards into a dread.
Knotting: Pick two pieces of hair and just rub them apart and repeat this till you've got a knotted dread.

I'd wait a coupple of more months to be honest, as your hair will reduce by about1/3
