earlier, i kept feeling that down there was irritated or something. so i get a compact mirror and i find 2 bumps (kind of like pimples or something) down there on my outer lips (like on the skin part) so i freaked out and didnt kno wtf to do. so i thought i would ask. the thing is, i have gotten them on the skin part thats where your pubes are and that was always from shaving, but i have never gotten them on the underneath part where the actual vagina is...so thats what worried me. and also, they are a little bit sore (not really, just when my underwear rubs against them, it it kinda uncomfortable) im pretty certain its just from shaving down there but i just wanted to kno your guys opinions...

If you have had unprotected sex in the past, perhaps you have contracted a viral infection such as genital herpes, which appears as a cold sore or pimple like lesion....I would suggest you visit your gynecologist and have an exam to put your mind at ease.

depends if its on the outer part of the lips that can grow hair that you may have touched while shaving, and if so, how long you have been shaving really, i got a few on my 'sac first few times i shaved, irritation most likely

if they don't go, or you can't find a feasible explanation For them to be there, i'd say consult your GP/Doctor

ok, in response to both of you.

yes, i have had unprotected sex but i have been with my boyfriend for a year and havnt slept with anyone else during that time and some time before that too (and i KNOW he hasnt slept with anyone else either) so wouldnt I have noticed it by now if it happend anytime before then?

and yes, its on the outer lip parts, very far away from the actual vagina. and i have been shaving for awhile, but not the underneath part, i just started shaving that recently and dont do it very often either.

i really think its just a shaving irritation, cuz they look like they are going away, i just want to know your guys' opinions and know if you have experienced anythin like it.

if you've only started shaving that area recently its most likely to be irritation, any type of irritation like that i get i use a sensetive balm, should help

Yes, I have a suffered a rash when I have shaved my pubic region and the part between the anus and the testicle sack, which is the area on a female that you are referring to….I’m relieved to hear that it’s on the outside of the labia majora and not on the labia minora closer to the vaginal opening….Genital herpes can flair up several years after first contact….If you’re still concerned and it sounds as if you are, please contact your gynecologist or GP, so you can put your mind at ease.:)

You can get Herpes from oral sex, too. So you probably have the oral type (cold sore) herpes, but it is on your genitals. My BF and I have never been with anyone else but I get outbreaks like the one you described, too, so I'm guessing that you have what I have.
