good album, but not the greatest heavy metal album, by far...... I really dont consider queensryche a heavy metal band really, they are more hard rock...... and they have alot of pink floyd influence.
and all the people sayin Master of Puppets......... good choice too. if there was an album to put paranoid to shame, that would be it..... definitely top 5 metal albums for sure. its the best metallica album at least.
i didnt forget the maiden but number ofthe beast was their sellout album. piece and killers and seventh were waaaay better
oooh! maiden nice, overlooked i think. but it's not the best metal album as the best from that band. tallica's ride the lightning or megadeth's countdown. black sabbath's paranoid or alice cooper. priest or maiden. sepultura or soulfly. tool or rage. it's to hard my mind's starting to hurt.
Dont get me wrong, I like slayer. But, comeon! Kerry King is about sloppy as fuck on guitar. I'd go with James Murphy- Convergance or Jason Becker- Perpetual Burn or Megadeth- Rust in Peace.
Yay!! *hugs* I personally would say 'Nemesis divina' by our beloveth Satyricon as my current and temporary favourite, but I know dozens upon dozens of near-perfect metal albums from which I can't really pick an absolute favourite, and these things always shift over time.
Ok my turn..... I'm British so you may not have heard of them 1. The Wildhearts "Earth Vs The Wildhearts". 2. Terrorvision "How to make friends and influence people". 3. Faith No More "Introduce Yourself". 4. Skid Row "Slave to the grind" 5. Motley Crue "Dr Feelgood" 6. Alice Cooper "Welcome to my nightmare" 7. Whitesnake "1987" 8. Metallica "Master of puppets" 9. Motorhead "Ace Of Spades". 10. Guns N Roses "Appetite for destruction"
theres just something about guys that listen to whitesnake and poison and cinderella that make me want to puke.. if you were younger, you would like backstroeeet boys and new kids on the block. another one of my alltime favs city of evil by Avenged sevenfold. i know its not that old, but ive enjoyed that music alot more than much of my music.
