I had the strangest dream last night. That I was walking in a grave yard which I think is my home, I live there there in my dream, and I have crow on my arm and I'm talking to the crow. But I'm on my way to the grave of someone, someone its think I love but then the dream changes in mood and I feel as I am lingering at my own grave. The crow flies off and I'm left collapsed at the large victorian style headstone amidst dead flowers feeling as I am unable to leave there because I am so sad. And its not just sadness, its absolute despair and grief. I am pale, stiff and possibly decomposing the way you imagine really terrible ghosts and I become distressed at the crows absence. I get up and wander the graveyard calling the crows name, which is something like "thudor" or, "thunder" or "thor", I'm not sure but thats how the name sounded. When calling it, theres terrible disquiet in the graveyard and the air is thick and the sky grey. I feel lost without this dark bird and I'm just wandering around and around as if dizzy, until I see it and it comes from the graves and flies over my head. Everything ends there. I keep having dreams about being a ghost, or being dead in churchyards or watching people get on with their lives while knowing I'm dead. There is a strange peace to it, but still when i wake up such ideas are distressing. Any ideas on this macabre dream?
