Why do people at my school refuse to think for themselves? All they ever do is copy each other and they all look the same! It wouldn't matter if there was a school uniform or not because they would look alike anyways. It can't be fun to be the same as everyone else, so why do they do it? Why does clothes and make-up take over the minds of all the teenagers? Not even just teenagers, every day i see 9 year old that look like prostitutes! WHY?!!?!??!!??!?!?!?!!?!? Are people so insecure that they feel the need to be exactly like their friends? Do they feel that if they were to make a change in the way that they look, to step away from the crowd, that their friends would abanden them? My God, if that's it, what pathetic lives they must live. I can't even imagine what it must feel ike to wear a mini-skit and FCUK t-shirt because you HAD to to 'fit in'. Must be horrible. So why do people do it?!?!

I agree for the most part. At the same time, you can't expect people to be the way you want them to be.

But why even worry about what other people are doing? What is the point?

Just do your own thing, forget about them.

I agree with your statement about young girls dressing like hookers. I too find it to be sick, and it sends a mixed-message to all the perverts out there.

Like I've said before, we live in a society that looks with a great amount disdain on pedophiles and rapists, yet in a way it seems as if parents are condoning this type of behavior when they send their 13 yr. old off to school in a pair of low-cut jeans with a clearly visible thong showing in the back.

Kids are going up too damn fast...and its shocking because think about what is it going to be like five-ten years from now..

A parent might not be able to get their 13 yr old to wear anything else, if it's low-cut jeans and a thong that they'll wear happily, then it's low-cut jeans and a thong that they wear. I think that parents feel that they have to let their teenagers wear what they want and do what they want or else they'll go all destructive and moody at them. I know that I'd get mad at my mum if she made me wear something awful to school! I think parents should let kids wear what they want, but try to make their kids want to wear what THEY want, not what their friends are wearing.

I know what you mean... I'm determined to come home covered in mud from top to toe until my childhood is well and truely past and i can no longer get away with it. I don't see why kids want to be older. It's CRAZYNESS!
