just got a pair of specs from lenscrafters....its been years since i've worn glasses!!! i always looked terrible in them before, but now that i'm older i think i can more effectively pick a decent looking pair. my contacts were just bothering me too much, i need a break. so now, i got them for comfort, and i dont think they're ugly, but they still dont quite feel like "me" yet. i'm a little self conscious about it. i know a lot of people think glasses are geeky (not that i care too much about being perceived as a geek....as long as i can be a passably un-ugly geek!) but i dont think they look too bad..... anyway, anybody on here have any preference for a lover with or without glasses? do you even care? i dont personally, but like i said i'm a little self conscious about it and would like to know if there are really that many people that think they're ugly looking....or even if there are some people who find folks with glasses particularly good looking, too...hell, i really have very little idea what people think about them! anyway, this is my awkwardly angled cameraphone picture of my new specs, what do you all think? a little goofy cause of the angle, but you get the jist of it...

I wear glasses, too...so I guess I'm biased, but I figure being able to see clearly is verrrrrry sexy! ha ha OK, this probably didn't help you a bit but it's late, I'm tired, I have glasses and I like being the first response in new threads lol. I say the glasses are good my man.
its all good, man, cause i'm secure enough in my masculinity to take a compliment like that lol! hell, even if i took what you said the wrong way i wouldnt give a shit...i've been hit on by actual gay men and it never turned me gay before, so i dont think some guy on the internet thinking i'm sexy is gonna do anything to me but thanks for the compliment man! yeah, i'm probably making too big a deal of this. i know i dont care if a girl has glasses or not....so why should it be different? i guess its just looking back at old pics of me as a kid, i looked like such a turd! but i think these are much better than the stuff i used to wear.
I've never seen glasses as geeky. I think it's kinda hot when a guy wears glasses. I wear glasses myself but i don't really like them so i want contacts..
My boyfriend wears glasses and I think they're about the sexiest things in the world. I myself have to tone down the eyeliner before I can go back to glasses. But, if I can get a job with insurance, I can get new glasses soon. I just hope I can find frames somewhat like the ones I had in junior high. I was cute in 6th grade, lol. But I do sort of miss glasses and it still feels weird every now and then to not have to take them off to clean them, lol. I haven't worn them since I was 15. Good grief.
i have buddy hollie glasses, i dont usually wear them...but lately ive been forcing my self to wear them
i love glasses, most ppl look more intelligent and smart and fun and yeah... in glasses. hehe, not always though. there was a girl at my work who wore glasses that had a very blank facial expression all the time... she may ahve looked better without them. anyway, after that statement i gotta say you look smarter, and more respectable with glasses and that's a turn on. very professional.. very nice i love em (not to say you look way worse without them... but i do prefer the glasses)
glasses can look really good if they suit the person. they can also look really bad. Nesta, I'm really just netural about yours heh. I think you look a smidge better without, but you look good either which way the only irritating thing about glasses is kissing someone with 'em (well, making out) while both people have their glasses on... they tend to hit each other or get all smudgy unless you take them off before hand
i used to have a pair of thin metal framed Lacoste glasses, stopped wearing them after a month, didn't suit me i got these a month ago, thick plastic glasses (from side) look a lot better than thin metal frames IMO gosh, gotta love R.o.D
yeah i think bespectacled people are hot. Especially the big frames - you might as well make a bit of a statement. I usually wear contacts - less hassle in the rain or when swimming, but i do like to bust out my purple buddy holly glasses when I need a break. but yeah, glasses = nerdy, but in a good way. Nerds rock.

Those glasses suit you. Personally I couldn't give a rats ass if somebody wore glasses or not. I think it is important that if you do wear glasses that you spend a huge amount of effort in finding the right ones for you. I wear glasses and when I choose the frames I spend hours in the opticians just trying on different ones, trying different colours. Feeling how they feel on me. All things I find very important. As I wear them most of the day I go for ones that are lightweight. Matt
its all about being comfortable with em yourself - if one is happy with their own glasses they send that message. As a guy in glasses, its always been about getting ones that I dig, and after that I havent noticed what anyone else thought. A person wearing glasses also means that they arent so vain as to have had an expensive laser surgery just to avoid having to put their contact lenses in!
ha that doesn't always have to be about vanity though...i've considered it, not because of looks but beacuse I live in a city that is very prone to earthquakes and it freaks me out to wake up to a shaking house and not be able to see a damn thing. Waking up to blurriness isn't that much fun.
my eyesight is long sighted, and not very much at that, so i rarely encounter blurryness, i don't need to wear my glasses much. its weird how you say people opt for surgery to not wear glasses Because of vanity, though i wear mine all the time due to style, you could say i wear mine Because of vanity hehe
