looks like i missed some stuff. oh well, i guess. i take it he made a negative post about someone?

i dunno. i mean, i wouldn't be too fast to say everyone liked him. i was pretty neutral, but he seemed like a nice guy. whatever happened, skip is generally pretty selective about what you do or do not get banned for. i would doubt that it was impossible to see this coming if he were making a "ban worthy" post, but then thats only based on what i've seen in the past.

either way, if he's gone it's only because he decides to be. they can't ban a user, just a name. stonerbill is gone with his name, but if he wanted to he could just make a new account. some people get banned and keep coming back again and again, going through account names like nothing. but until that name is found out and they're making the same kind of posts deliberately, then they are rebanned. if bill wanted to he could make a new name, mind his manners, and PROBABLY wouldnt be banned.

but like i said, whatever.

Skip's simply a fair distributor of the psychedelic scene...you simply have to do something seriously fucked to piss Skip off. Period.

He's taken me under his proverbial wing for several years now, and if he hadn't, I wouldn't trust him. Why not propose his true reason for banning you? TWAT can go eat shit, and HIPFORUM'S user that opposes Skip's actions can go be a Bluelight user. Period.

SKIP owns Hipforums...and though I've moderated several 100,000+ visitor forums, Skip's rules have been %150 fair over any other messageboard on the face of the planet and if you pissed Skip off, it's for a good reason. If you've pissed Skip off, contact a Mod and get the shit sorted out. If a Mod is indecisive, contact me...if you're in the wrong, your problem will be fixed. Otherwise, you'll simply piss and moan about the absolution of your delenquince, after several warnings, at which any point, either Skip, or ANY OTHER GLOBAL MOD, would ban you. The point of a messageboard is to share information, and not SPAM. To SPAM after your banning is simply a tribute to your reason for banishment.

If you're truely a worthy poster, you'll comeback under a new ID and post worthy information...I know because I've done it several times (not under Hipforums, but under other several traffic-heavy BBS's). If all you do is come back and SPAM, why would you expect any host to accept you?

Say I pay $400 a month for measly traffic...unlimited traffic and bandwidth, with the exception that there aren't one or two individuals SPAMming my website. $400 / month is HALF my pay for a FULL-TIME, BLUE-COLLAR job. Why would I work my ass off for YOU to come SPAM MY forums with garbage? I have no motivation for that, and I will work to keep people like YOU OFF my server.

So please keep in mind that Skip runs Hipforums out of HIS wallet, and that perpetual SPAMMING ruins his bandwidth. We all WISH we could have infinite storage and bandwidth to truely capture your blatant garbage, we can't all afford to host it. So whenever you decide to host a 100,000+-user messageboard and allow people to blatantly SPAM it, as well as post whenever you ban them for wasting your bandwidth, please let me know so I can post a thread callled "banned" and can say "FUCK YOU TEAWITHATWIST, YOU FUCKING L00SER11111!!!!!!!!!11one1!!!eleventeeen!1oneoenoeno1!!1poneone!!!!11one!!1!!!!!"
