    Our paid civilian mercenaries will delight you and your friends with such inflight goodies as electroshock, food, water and sleep deprivation, trained dogs who will entertain you with their snarls and nips. Our excellent air conditioning will keep you nearly frozen, reminding you of those harsh winters in the mountains. Of course since you're naked, you'll really appreciate this feature.

    Black Sites or Red Herring?

    Is news of black sites in Eastern Europe nothing more than a smoke screen?

    Ever since Dana Priest's article in the Washington Post entitled [​IMG]CIA Holds Terror Suspects in Secret Prisons, rumors have been rife about the existence of these so-called "black sites" in Europe. Consequently, speculation has centered on Poland and Romania, both of whom immediately denied the allegations. Meanwhile, the European Commission has launched an investigation on the possible existence of secret CIA prisons, both within members states and those countries hoping to join the EU in the near future. Yet to what extent is all this government activity and media speculation nothing more than a diversion from the real issues at hand?

    Diversions? Not necessarily...merely speculation that the CIA has "setup shop" in Europe; even this isn't a new issue, considering Indian concentration camps setup in the 40's, besides the CIA's "black-op" operations spanning the globe since the 60's.

    The real issue at-hand is, when are neutralised European governments going to sway forward and begin preventative measures against CIA/KGB, how will they address these issues, and such...

    I already know the answer to that, I was just seeing if anyone out there was comprehensive enough of the situation at-hand to answer properly. Unfortunately I've been raised under the understanding that my government's been lying to me all of my life, even under the constant false assitutions fed to me as a child...

    hey think of it this way, maybe we'll get some new hardware declassified so we can know how our money is being spent so cheny can say it's too much and shut it down again :cough, sr71, cough:
