yeah, ok, but i meant that the 80's were more like the 70's than the 90's. This is obvious, the 80's is the decade right after the 70's, so ofcourse the 80's are more like the 70's.
I don't like the 80's or 90's either. I dress in the style of the 70's. I like the 70's fashion much more than the 60's.
well, of course, 60's and 70's fashion rocks much more than 80's and 90's, but title of this thread was askin' if 80's or 90's..
I think the 80's were better than the 90's. I lived in both decades and I prefer the 80's. also the music of the 80's was better. The 80's were more like the 70's and 60's.
I am glad the 80's fashion is long past... If I saw anyone in MC Hammer pants with huge shoulder pads and a rat tail, I would die laughing....
I really liked grunge HAHA Flares and bellbottoms came back around in the 90s too, I remember the horrible pencil leg jeans from the 80s and the skirts that went up to your belly buttons, some 80s trends were cute but for the most part I hated 80s clothes. punk was probly the only look from the 80s that I dug......................
The 80's were all about flouro cothes, leg warmers and bubble skirts, plus leather ties and jacket sleeves rolled up to the elbows with shoulder pads. The 90's had those basketball sneakers everywhere, plus coloured jeans like red, purple and green, i think bushy eyebrows as well. Also, techno, rap and hip hop was big.
What about 70's fashions, what wouuld you do if you saw a guy in bell-bottoms, plaid shirts with big collars, shaggy hair and side burns?
I think you are taking this whole fashion thing a bit too seriously....wear whatever you like. BUT, I like bell-bottoms and shaggy hair.
if it was death or dress like one of those, i would go with death. just kidding, if i really had to i would go with the 80s just because of the whole punk/grunge look.
grunge may have started in the mid to late 80's but it didn't become mainstream until the 90's. you are fashionably misinformed.
"punk was probly the only look from the 80s that I dug.." lol, that's why i was a punk in the 80's. reasons to hate the 80's don't forget piano keyboard ties, jeans up to your armpits, white denim hungry butt jeans, frizzy tall hair, feathered hair, conservative-republican-alex p keaton, what's love got to do, got to do with it, we don't need another heeeeeeeeeerooooooo (otherwise I like tina turner, but not in the 80's yuck!) i wear my sunglasses at night, white snake spandex metal, spandex pants, skinheads . . . we should compile a list, lol reasons to like the 80's hardcore punk!!!!! any kind of punk!!!!!!!! batcave type music like bauhaus and the cure. ska basically anything not mainstream. i can't think of anything else right now, there must be something else. as long as you were into the alternative scene (which includes lots of folks that were into 60's culture, just like now) then you could survive the 80's boring boring boring fashion and music. i really feel that the eighties alternative scene is the root of the 90's grunge scene. i loved the 90's! kathy
