anyone see this movie, I think it is a great movie, it is kinda surreal the blood is extremely bright. I heard it described best as alice in wonderland on an acid trip. When you watch a Dario Argento film you see horrible things happen to people in beautiful ways

I love this flick. It's so strange and disturbing. The first kill was the ultimate. I was hooked after that. The music was really far-out, too, I'm not sure if I really liked the tunes or not. It added to the freaky vibe, though. And I'm SO never going away to ballet school!:p

i just watched it the other day. i was really really bored with it. both my friends that watched it with me thought it was terrible. it wasn't that bad, but really boring for a horror flick.

ooooooooooo I never heard about the movie, suspiria until I watched this top 100 scariest moments on bravo, so it had all these scary movies on it.... then my brother sent me these songs by the italian progressive rock band, goblin......... which is featured on that soundtrack...... I love the title track the most..... so haunting.... but I like trippy music like that...... I even made a post about goblin and the soundtrack for suspiria in the music boards, but no one even responded to it :(

my brother said he really enjoyed that film..... but he is into horror flicks..... he lives by texas chainsaw massacre, and stuff like that....

It's an unusual film and worth seeing. I can't say that I enjoyed it too much, but I'm glad I own a copy. It's highly original and I was haunted by the music, too. It is by no means a conventional horror film, so some people will be put off by it, but it's definitely a classic.

Dario Argento is a fucking genius.

The Goblins are fucking awsome, they did the soundtrack for Dawn of the Dead.

When we used to get bored we'd drive around at late hours playing Goblin really loud and freaking people out, they do know how to set a mood.

I like Suspiria, and enjoy the mood of it, but I have shown it to people and most didn't like it.
I think the next time i play it for anyone it's going to be for people who have seen it before and want to see it again or are Argento fans and never seen it before.

Argento is king. Profundo Rosso and Suspiria are his finest works imho, but they are all class. Essential to any horror fan.

Ah yeah, I fucking love this movie, lol. The story kind of drags at times, but like Bella Donna said you're pretty much hooked after the first 15 minutes or so.

Oooh, add Opera (AKA Terror at the Opera) to my list of best Argento movies..!! Brought it the other day, it's another work of genius..! I cannot enthuse about these films enough, they are essential to any true horror movie buff.
