Does anyone know of any effective holistic treatments to this disease in an easy and healthy way? Maybe not even holistic, but just effective healthy ways of getting rid of it that are relatively easy. It's for my mom and I'm not too familiar with the disease... I wanna help her be motivated to stop as well... So any advice at all is greatly appreciated. I worry a LOT about her sometimes and it's very painful to think about so I often find myself avoidingit, which I'm sure is unhealthy for both of us. Thanks so much if you know anything...

Seems you're emphasising effective as much or more as holistic. Recovering from alcoholism is a process that demands cooperation from the patient. First and foremost, your mom has to want to recover. But that doesn't mean she can't do it now. What it does mean is that you will have to educate her along with yourself about her illness and treatment options. Alcoholism is a common disease, I'm sure there are many places in your area which will be able to help you both through this.
Most approaches are holistic and do not involve any chemicals or hospitialization, except in the most extreme cases. Unfortunately there is no 'easy' way to get through it that really works. Your mom has to be shown she does have a disease, that it is causing problems between herself and you, that you are concerned about her, and are willing to help her through it.
Below are just a couple sites I found for AA and the Dept for Alcohol and other drug abuse services in South Carolina. Many more can be found by using your favorite search engine.

It kinda sounds like you and your mom are both going through some tough times now. But don't worry, things will get better, and there are a lot of people out there who will be happy to help in any way they can. I hope your mom can recover real soon, and I wish both of you the best of luck.
