Does anyone get this feeling...when readin or reciting shakespeare....

    I feel... like going 'rahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh'
after a few sentences...the stuff has so much ENERGY... PASSION, POWER...

    it literally feels ALIVE.

god, i cant get enough of it.

Any favoraite quotes??, ones that seem to fit your character, or evoke feelings you can relate to and enjoy?

MIne, 'O calm, dishonourable, vile, sumbission...'

[and what wouldst thou have of me?]

'Good king of cat's, nothing but one of your nine lives...'

Oh mi god, im going to get shakespeare on tape tommorrow if it kills me.

i read him in english. i thought he was okay. but probably wouldnt spend my spare time reading longwinded verses that i have to read a cliff note to understand every sentence. he's aged.

    but still a god.

Shakespeare is incredible, must be for him to still be talked about after all rthese centuries.

He captured the essence of human nature, can still see resonances of it in today's society.

My mind's gone blank for quotes, but I love lady Macbeth's calling to the dark spirits.

    lol

i should grab a copy of r&j and read it. but u need cliff notes to understand anything this crazy ass writes.

did anyone hear about how his pipes were analyzed and they found not only residue of tobacco but also of marijuanna (conclusive) and inconclusive results that were possibly cocaine. i told my english teacher that and he wasnt surprised.

One of my favourite quotes is from Richard iii (the first folio, which is lesser known). In the play, the hunchback Plantagenet murders all his relatives to claim the throne of England. The scene finds him offering some confectionery to his little nephews before he has them arrested, and escorted to the tower, where they're disembowelled with a hot poker:

DICK III: Ye finger of fudge be just enough
To give thy kindred a treat indeed
Ye finger of fudge be just enough
Until ye time anon albeit to eateth
'Tis full of ye Cadbury goodness
But fie for there be more I needeth
Ye finger of fudge dipped in arsenic
Will give thee pesky kids a treat.

Apparently, that's how trick or treat started.
