now that the entire globe is wired together, i think language barriers will slowly drift away, just like genetic nationalities. we will all eventually look the same and speak the same language.
it wouldnt be in our lifetimes. it would just gradually all migrate towards one universal language. I mean look at how old people talk.think about how different they talk and even really reallyreally old people talk different still. if you watch a movie from the thirties its crazy almost like a different language. Hell, shakespeare spoke english and i have no clue what he is tryng to say. so 80 years from now, english will be a new language yet again!
I hope not. If something like that were to happen to something as big as language and heratige Life would be so bland and boring I'm sure the suicide rate would be Crazy go nutts.
we wouldn't all be the same but we will all be able to communicate, share ideas and thoughts more easily. it may even help prevent some misunderstandings. imagine being able to listen to people around the world without the use of a translator. just one of the good points about a world language.
yeah, i dont get why people say "but we wouldnt be different" look how different people are in america..britain..canada..australia..new zealand etc are. language just separates us..
