anyone catch the nyc shows? whatcha think? i thought the music was great, but irving plaza oversells and we were packed in like sardines.

does it irk anyone else when there isn't enough room to move? i hate that - forget dancing (the most wonderful thing ever about music) - can't even move.
made the show not as good.

i did like the music though - it was just so condusive to dancin!

I caught Umphrey's at Bell's in Kzoo this summer. Probably my favorite live Jam Band. They are unreal cool.

I read your post here last night and had to listen AGAIN to disc 3 from Bell's, probably one of the best representations of how versatile Umphrey's is. Nopener= heavy metal parody, Bad Poker=string cheese-like (pardon if I offend anyone but it is), In The Kitchen= just classic Umphrey's and worthy of awards, Can't find My Way Home, great cover of a great song, and to end the show=one of the most ultimate All in Time versions ever. Listening to that one literally gives me chills.

that really was a good show. and a great band.

I love umphrey's! I saw them a couple weeks ago in columbus. They were excellent. There was enough room to dance too!:)
