'there has been complaints...'

well, i was in the lobby or whatever in my apartments...and there was a paper that said, "there has been complaints of tennants leaving cigarette butts out, excessive loud music and noise, and marijuana smoke, please stop or the landlord will be notified"

i like paused when i read that, because it sounded just like me. and like especaily when my boyfriend comes over, we stay up til like 5-6am, we talk really loud i turn up loud reggae and random 60s songs, get stoned, and smoke cigarettes outside and just leave the butts. but, how the hell can you smell marijuana smoke? unless you're like totally inside the room, hot boxing the place. i mean, cigarette smell is way more notiacable...i dont get how they could smell my smoke. i mean, i smoke inside next to my window, but i mean, the smell goes away so fucking fast. they probably just made that up...even though its true.

those bastards. i did however, buy a bitchin' ashtray to put my cigarettes in, turn down the moozic just a LITTLE bit, and uh, still smoke weed

 

they could of been making it up...or maybe someone from there saw you smoking out of your bong by the beach or something. who knows...maybe you just come off as a stoner to them

 

Maybe they're just talking about someone else. You can't be the only person smoking(cigarettes or weed).

 

Yeah if I had to guess I'd say that theres either someone else doing this. Maybe go ask the landlord who the message was directed at.

Well, the description DOES match your behavior, right? I wouldn't take the chance, I'd assume it was me and try and tone it down. Gotta have respect for others, you aren't the only one living there, and most people like to sleep at night.

 

The reggea music at six in the morning is kinda fucked up though, people are trying to get some sleep and they gotta listen to whatever crap you like, s'not right.
I t'ink the music is what is bothering people, just keep that down and you should be golden.

 

Yeah loud music late at night is always rude...you could put the foam egg carton looking shit around your walls and insulate your room for all of like 20 bucks haha

That's what I did haha...and my sister just made sure she got an appartment with concrete walls...

haha ive had this problem every place i ever lived at all my life. not just me though, everyone in my house tends to piss off the neighbors with our smoking and loud music and people coming in and out and whatnot....and now our place is being watched for drug activity because the neighbors fucken report everything.
