How many of you really wanna live another Earth life filled with worry and suffering and trouble?

I guess this will come off as kinda preachy or know-it-all ish... But right now, we all have the potential to spiritually progress. We all have the potential to surrender to God's will, or destiny, or love, or whatever you want to call it. We come into this world with potential, with choice, opprotunity... And I think when we leave this world, we leave with a lot of what we create and make of our lives here, and what we learned from them. Many near death experiences confirm this, and they all come back incredibly inspiried to lead a better more loving life more in tune with God or the universe or whatever. I guess I'm just trying to share the inspiration I found reading these. It was like finding an ignored spark in my soul that had been ignored and abused for a long time, and was just burning to get to work... And the feeling was almost so intense I wanted to ignore it, and turn my head on what I'd compare to say..a neglected abused animals. But we shouldnt ignore harsh realities, you have to accept and work with them eventually, or the dog continues living in poor spiritual conditions.

I guess that is what inspired this post, reading a book I found about these. But do you ever get the feeling in your life, that a really good opprotunity just passed you by because you CHOSE not to prepare for it? You chose not to use your head, or take a lesson life sent to you to heart, or to use your self as a tool for a good, to not do the work you needed to do for you to take off on that experience. Life sends many lessons in many forms and is more loving than we make it out to be, and we should try to heed their call a little more and learn, for our own good as well as the world's. I imagine death is like this feeling X94824982494. If you wanna take off and fly, you gotta get to work. It ain't really work though, it's love, it's goodness, you learn to love it and take things steps at a time.

We all probably have ENORMOUS potential to better ourselves and this Earth right now, I know I do anyway. I can think of like 10 things off the top of my head in my life I could improve and do a better job of emboding love, and I bet you can come up with at least a few. It isnt hard once you make the change, and live consciously. Living consciously connects us back to reality, and to love.

Estonians have always been suffering, i guess im real Estonian, I suffer too..
    I love too, through suffering..
making compromises is not suffering.. from time to time it might sound like this..
people are saying relationships are based on compromises..
    I dont know..
i would like to just chill and have fun, not suffer, right?
So it comes to thingy that love is not suffering, so dont love as yer suffering..
so it must be meaning that people who suffer, should change love..
    Or attitude.. [IMG]
Just one thought, nuthing special .. was testing my brains.. being tired..
    at work..
not suffering.. (couse i dont have hangover) [IMG]
    PEACE [IMG]

Suffering is life's way of teaching us. We have the choice though to ignore suffering, and life will grant us that wish sometimes I think. Its never more than you can handle though, and a little embracing of it never hurt anybody, or did it? lol.. What is an estonian?

    .

we love whether we suffer or not , eh . it's probably
best to not make stupid sacrifices tho . if somebody
makes a necessary sacrifice so you don't have to..
then fine , because you suffering from making a
similar sacrifice would be , well , stupid .

    doesn't matter

    improvement is empty,achievement is empty
if you improve or feel better then so be it
    if not,accept that too
    forcing anything makes life shittier,emptier
even if the illusion of happiness blinds you of this fact

    I do!! ^_^

    (I'm serious, by the way.)

What good is love if there is no hate? How can you appreciate white when there are no other colours to compare it against?

I think maybe it is the particular christian cultural upbringing that many of us have had which gives us such reasoning as is demonstrated above with the admonition to keep striving to better ourselves and the world around us. I feel it too but wonder if other cultures embody similar notions? It would seem reasonable that positive traits would be correlated across cultures and societies. That which is good is usually good in whichever culture.
Love should have someone other than the self as the object.
