What an absolutely insane band. I could listen to them for hours on end.

I have not heard them, though I would like to... I have no money to buy CD's which is disheartening.... :(

I love them too. Jerry's banjo playing is incredible.

jerry's banjo, david's mandonlin, vasser's fiddle, kahn's bass, and rowan's guitar! oh man is that a tight ass band or what? they are some of my favorite bluegrass, and to be honest, Old and in the Way, as well as Del McCoury and Bill Monroe is what got me into bluegrass.....wonderful stuff

I think "Breakdown" was their best, and everyone should search for "That High Lonesome Sound." The "Pizza Tapes" bored me to death, but "Jerry Garcia & David Grisman" - that is some quality stuff. They are definitely a must listen for any bluegrass fan.

The second of that series was That High Lonesome Sound and the 3rd was Breakdown

Around here we have the Best of Bluegrass. It's almost free. Happens somewhere ever weekend and some week nights.
I love the Pickin an' all, but when they start that singing it ruins the whole thing for me.

Isnt' there some way one member can send another member a copy of some music over the internet?
