I am so happy to have Leane here, and I was so glad to get her out of my tummy, but I can't get over how much I miss being pregnant! I never felt more beautiful (dispite the morning sickness, swollen legs and feet and gaining 45 pounds, lol) and now I just feel like a usless blob!
My labour went great and I had an awsome pregnancy, I just can't wait to do it all again!!!!!!!!! But I also am going back to school for 6 years starting in september, and so is my hubby and I really don't want to have another baby during that time, but I also dont want a 7 year gap between Leane and her next brother or sister. Blah.
I know this is pretty trivial to be worring about right now...I just can't get over how much I miss it!
I keep telling all the pregnant people that I know now to cherish every single moment of it!
I just felt so good when I was pregnant. Like my body was doing what it was always meant to do. I loved having to change my whole diet and way of life for the little person living in my tummy.
    Pregnancy is awsome! lol!
I'm actually going back to school to be a nurse so that I can work in the maternity ward of the hospital. I'd love to be a midwife, but that kinda scares me cuz of the job stability. It's kinda funny that I found what I wanted to do from my pregnancy! Yet another thing that I have to be thankful for!
I just want to have lots of little kiddies! lol!
    I'm lovin this!!!!!!!!!!!
I just wanted to say that...........lol!

A nice way to get a bit of that feeling back, is to wear your baby. Seriously. The babe can just sleep there and you can rub her back and butt just like you used to rub your belly. Sounds silly, but I think it's neat.

And if you're nursing, you body is still doing what it's meant to do ;)

the thing i missed most when i had kai was constantly knowing where she was and that she was okay. every day since then has been letting go a little bit more. that just kills me. i'm hyper-mom.

My daughter is 9 months and I still miss being pregnant at times. I cant wait to get pregnant again. Its just the best feeling having something growing and living inside of you.

well, at least i know i'm not crazy about missing it this much.
It's getting easier every day, but I still want to get preggy again.
I went for my 6 week check up yesterday, and I told my doc how I missed it, and he was like, "i smell another baby soon!"
Going back to school is the only thing that's stopping me. But at the same time, I don't want to wait that long, cuz once I'm done, it's not like I can take time off when it's time for the next one....I don't want to have the baby and by the time he/she is 3 months old, send him/her to daycare. Know what I mean?
Sadily, I wasn't able to nurse. I saw so many LC's, went to LLL....nothing was working. So that made it even harder....
I tried 'wearing' her, but she hates it. She only wants to be held or just put in her swing or something. BUt like i said, it's getting easier and easier each day.

if it's any help, my mum went back to college after having my sister and 7 years later had me:) Me and my sister get on amazingly and despite never being hugely close when we were little we've gradually grown closer. If I were to have children I wouldn't have a problem leaving a gap between them, I don't think it has any negative effects and I get to go partying with my big sis and stay in her flat all the time, whooop.

My oldest son is going ot be 6 years old next week, and my twins are 2.5 years old, and you know what? I STILL miss being pregnant with them. I was just telling my husband the other night that being pregnant was incredible, feeling the babies move inside of me...it was just absolutely amazing. Miraculous.

i hated being pregnant. i mean, knowing there was someone inside me, that was neat. but, i was always violently sick, not able to go one single day without throwing up until i was about 6months along with my daughter and the whole time with with my son. and i hated getting so fat! ugh 45 pounds! and my back HURT esp with my daughter, when i was older.
i like the outcome much better than the process lol.

lol, well I guess that's the whole other side!
I was really sick until I hit my second trimester. I had to leave my job and everything....I didn't move off the couch for the first 3 months. That part wasn't so desirable.
It was the second trimester that i really enjoyed. I loved having my belly! lol!
I must agree about the weight gain, though.....it didn't bother me when I was pregnant, but now I feel like a beached whale! I gained about as much as you. I was 140 before I was preggy, and about 200 by the end. I'm down to about 165 or so now.
In the third trimester, my feet, legs and hands were beyond swollen and I couldn't move too well (according to family, I was HUGE....and after her being 9 lbs 3 oz when she came out, I can believe it)....but I still loved it!
