Maybe you can lighten up. Just becuase i dont agree with you doesnt mean you should tell me to go away to some other forum.

It seems that everyone just likes others to pat them on the back and go "YEAH! good job" and never disagree with them. Ironically, people on this board who criticize bush for doing that are guilty themselves.

 

Yes, because if you dont laugh at someone who is choking..or laugh at someone who falls off a bike..a segway you MUST love them.

He can ban you for farting if he felt like it and he still wouldn't be wrong for it.

After 4 years of logging onto hipforums.com I've seen lots of people banned, none simply for their political beliefs....

Regardless if it's a "free speech forum" or not, why continue to post on a very liberal site so opposed to your worldview?

People laugh at kids running into walls on America's Funniest Home Videos, are you condemning that as well? I wouldnt go to any board because it leans "left or right." I come here to have fun and talk. I dont agree with how people dumb down politics and make a joke of EVERYTHING. EVERYTHING bush does gets mocked, does it NOT get old? Its kind of like hitting your head against a wall..sure its fun for the first hour, but after that you realize you're just wasting time(and brain cells.)

Well if that is your opinion then it certainly sounds like you are in the wrong place.

Did you think your arrival on a liberal forum would get us all to change our minds about the president, or do you just enjoy wasting your time along with the rest of us (and if you do, why bitch about it so much)?

There are plenty of other forums here than the politics forum, but if you like politics and are sick of the bush-bashing there are plenty of conservative forums that would welcome you, and you all could have a Bush love-in. I just don't get what's with the sticking around and complaining.

 

Nothing will get old with Bush. He is a rare breed. One who is prone to such frequent fuck ups, but he doesn't let them hold him back. Bush's antics will be halarious for years to come.

Things are always 75% funnier when its happens to someone you don't like... thats a fact... its science.

I visit conservative forums occasionally, but I can say that the most ardent Bush supporters I've come across are in this room. Not sure why that is. People here are incredibly defensive of Bush.

Anyhow, Bush is president now so he's the one under scrutiny and is going to get poked fun at once in a while. That's normal in American politics.

Bush didn't get injured on the Segway as far as I know. It simply looked silly and people laughed at it.

When Clinton broke his ankle, a group of Republicans in the Congress had a public meeting and read a bunch of insulting remarks about his injury. "We feel you're pain, Mr. President." This kind of thing goes on all the time.

I still enjoy the vintage jokes about Nixon, Ford, and Carter.

ahh i thought we were laughing at bush trying to escape from a press coference through locked doors! if you dont find that funny i think you might benifit from laugh therepy! even bush made it into a joke! did you just have a bad day? laughing at something funny helps! try it!

 

Even Saturday Night Live did a take-off on the pretzel incident. The secret service came running in to find Bush with a bruise on his face. Then Cheney came out of the back room and was rubbing his hand like he had just punched Bush in the face. (did you ever notice that nervous habit Cheney has of rubbing his hand?) Then Cheney said Bush fell and hit his head on the coffee table by accident. Bush had a docile look on his face and said "Yeah, that's right. I, uh, hit my face on the coffee table.

I never believed the pretzel story. That incident was strange. It's not a believable explanation to most. About as believable as Bush saying he had a bad tailor when his suit showed something underneath it at the debates. People would simply like some straight answers but those in DC keep dodging questions. For example, Bush wouldn't simply come out and admit he was on Cipro after that anthrax thing. People would have respected him for an honest answer, but he refused to answer the question every time it was asked.

You would think with the retinue that follows him that someone would have checked the doors! He probably went into free-thinking mode (we've all heard how well that works for him!) after he got the OGM-the-reporters-are-asking-me-unscripted-questions-again panic attack, and decided to... um, go for a walk. I wouldn't be surprised if Bush's own people locked the doors. Bush is so afraid of someone coming after him. They literally lock whole cities down for that guy. Remember that town in Germany that he visited a while back? They welded all the manhole covers shut. Bush even wanted London shut down for a whole day and bullet proof windows installed at the goverment building where he was visiting. Britain didn't go along with that one.
