i think its really nasty what they have done to the jungle in aussie - it really is, today someone had to drive a mini-car along a tiny rope bridge and it fell off and crashed on the floor. And not to mention the animals they use. Am i the only one who thinks this show is nasty?

 

Yeah, the car was a bit pointless. But people eating stuff, why not?? Other animals eat other animals....

 

Animals eat other animals out of necessity, not to gain ratings or give their celeb status an undeserved boost.

how anyone watches that shit is totally beyond me . got told thatcher (the milk snatcher ) "s daughters in it . if shes anythink like her mother "hope she get eaten by a crocodiles " their again i would"nt wish that on crocs man .

 

argh its back, what a pile of crap that just takes over everything from mags to newspapers to tv ads to everyday conversation. when will ppl realise its a load of rubbish?? arghhhh whens it over

 

- Oh I can't stand that show and I quite agree - they are wrecking large parts of pristine natural rain forest (which is being destroyed at a terrifying rate as it is) all for a crappy TV show. It does rather make me want to visit a rain forest though... they look fascinating - just as long as it is nowhere near any of those lame ass losers.

Totally hideous programme but in the grand scheme of things the local damage they are doing to the forest is tiny compared to other human activity. I guess the worse thing is that people who watch the show may be led to believe that's the way to behave there!

 

and they have animals in there. They had babies but i cant remember what they are called!! (big birds) not emu's!!!

but they are babies so they must have been taken away from their mum as a egg or when they where hatched and then plonked somewhere warm for tv!! not because people have to.

its really pissing me off it was on tv last night and while doing homework i watched it, they had a snake some into where they where sleeping and one person wasnt going to sleep and they panicked a bit !!! WTF your in the fucking jungle for fuk sake - what do they seriously expect to happen!!!

 

Not being funny but even if i was in the jungle and a snake came in my tent or what ever... i would panick!

But asside fromthat yea its pretty pointless but so are most TV shows. I actually didnt know it was on again untill i saw this thread :S shows how observing i am.

 

I dunno........any show that takes that David Dickenson (antique dealer bloke) and sticks him in a hostile forrest on the other side of the planet can't be a totally bad thing.....

I didn't stop laughing the whole way though last nights episode.. and I love Ant and Dec, I find them great!!

This is the show that gets a paragraph in the paper when it's being filmed and that's it. Sounds funny as hell but trust me, there is no way Australian officials would let anything or one be harmed for a pommy reality show. They would have all the precautions in the world. We take the preservation of our rainforests very seriously.

It sounds weird you guys calling it the jungle or forest though.
I think this series is filmed in Qld right? If it's where i think, the croc numbers are low. In fact, i'm pretty sure it's in the middle of nowhere.

 

All these shows are a complete waste of time IMHO. No wonder the art of conversation is dieing. How about reading the paper for a change (not the tabloids which just talk about crap tv shows), or an improving book?

 

Those people get to talk with people that they would not normaly chat with.. a great social leveler .
This programe and others like Big Brother are great for that..

I think the programe is bollocks for many other reasons..but if you like this kinda thing it keeps people chatting [as i hear people droning on about it all day]

I think it is built on a specialy constructed peice of safe land not that far crom civilisation.. nobody is going to get harmed or anything as fun as that..all far too safe...you will have to look hard for any info about it other than the crap about what is going on within..

 

What i meant (Mr Almost Sexy) was that it's filmed in outback Qld right? The nearest town might have a few hundred people and that's it. Those country towns have a petrol station, pub and antique shop. That's it It's great out there.
