Does anyone know where I can obtain a nice one? I was thinking of somethin that wasn't "stringy" or had gold/silver, but rather some nice cloth/woven one. Any suggestions?
I would speak to http://sunshineonmyshoulders.net/ She is awesome. She is one of the best around. Check out what she has to offer. She made my life very happy. I am getting a dread bead stitch from her. Jah love and light
Dude, you live on the west coast... plenty of hippy hemp crafters out there. Personally, I think they're a lot cooler when a friend you know makes it for you. Anklets should have a story behind them, even a short story.....
Try www.shelbysfootjewels.com they have some good ones for guys. i pretty much buy all my foot jewelry there.
I've actually been in that store in Laguna Beach. But I haven't seen any ankle bracelets there that are very masculine looking. In fact, I could never find any anywhere that totally suited me, so I made my own. A craft store, such as Michael's, has all kinds of stuff to make ankle bracelets out of, and if you do that yourself you'll be able to have exactly what you want in exactly the size you want. It's not that hard to do. I've made maybe 5 or 6 and wear them regularly.
To me personally, there's nothing feminine or un-guy like about any anklets, until you get to the ones which are petite, gold chain like, jewelled, but even then, who cares? I always tell guys to wear what they want.
