Okay so here is what I came up with...

Remember the fleece jacket that I started a few weeks ago? Well, I decided to remove the tree applique to do something bigger on the back. Today I decided to make a hoodie sweatshirt out of fleece (yeah I know I should get that other jacket done, but I'm not sure what to do on it yet) and I decided to put the tree applique on the back of the hoodie.

I think it came out nice. I just have to serge the edges of the sleeves and hemline. Should I out anything on the front or leave it plain?

 

that's very nice. i'd maybe do a smaller applique on the front. perhaps a branch close up sort of thing?

 

I think it is screaming out for a big ole kangaroo pocket

hipmoon, i love your creations, do you make clothes to sell? i am trying to get a dashiki made for my husband. he had a beautiful one made of white linen by his aunt and it got ruined at the cleaners. if yo make dashiki's i would be more than happy to pay whatever yo charge. his was beautiful, it had gold & brown boardering on it.
