Depends. If it's just a drunken spur of the moment thing, and you're still cool and joke about it afterwards, then you're even better friends than before, and share an even stronger bond. If not, then at least you got some play.

Being a virgin, I'd rather have sex with my best friend than doing it with someone I didn't feel particularly conected to emotionally. If it is a mutual thing, then I don't see anything wrong with it at all.
i think it's fine. i've done it. no problems. in fact, sometimes its easier to talk to your best friend about sexual issues/suggestions/etc. than your partner.
