Hi every one, :) I hope you are all fine and happy

For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life” (John 3:16) KJV.

only begotten son…but when we look at Psalms 2:7 David says,…the Lord said unto me, Thou art my son; this day have I begotten thee

Jesus is given many ‘fathers’ in the N.T. The first line in the New Testament reads,A record of the genealogy of Jesus Christ, the son of David, the son of Abraham (Matt. 1:1). Are we to accept the literal meaning of this or the figurative? And if we are to assume that the verse only means that he was a spiritual son of David, then why can’t we assume the same thing is meant when Jesus refers to God the “Father”? For according to the N.T. statements attributed to Jesus he says,…Be perfect, therefore, as your heavenly Father is perfect (Matt. 5:48). As well as,this, then, is how you should pray: Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name…” (Matt 6:9).

And to confirm the spiritual connection of the righteous,For whoever does the will of my Father in heaven, is my brother, and sister, and mother (Matt 12:50).This verse uses the wordFather but Mark 3:35 reads, whoever does God's will, is my brother, and sister, and mother.
Is it the word ‘Father’ used to describe God?

This is not a literal relationship is plain to see and comprehend. Another verse is describing David as being Jesus’ father,But the angel said to her, '' do not be afraid, Mary, you have found favor with god. You will be with child and give him the name Jesus. He will be great and will be called the son of the most high. The Lord God will give him the throne of his father David (Luke 1:30-32). Now if God was Jesus’ literal physical father, wouldn’t it have made sense to distinguish the difference in this verse which presents Jesus along with David as his father? Or Jesus will be called the son of God but not literally that was his nickname or epithet exactly as the peacemakers blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called sons of God. (Matthew 5:9)

How will this be, Mary asked the angel, ''Since I am a virgin?'' the angel answered, '' the Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you. So the Holy one to be born will be called the son of god. (Luke.1:34-35)
My understanding of this verse is, because Mary will bear a child without a male and the Holy Spirit will come upon her, her child will be called the son of god for being a holy one. In Luke 2:41 it reads;every year his parents went to Jerusalem for the feast of the Passover.” His parents being Mary and Joseph!

The only person that anyone can be sure of about Jesus’ parentage literally is Mary. Links Son of god

    Yours Sincerely,

    Quraan [52.29]
Therefore, remind, by the grace of Allah, you are neither a soothsayer, nor a madman.
    [51. 51-52]
And set not up ( or worship not ) any other (god) along with Allah, verily, I am a clear Warner to you from him, Likewise, no messenger came to those before them but they said: A sorcerer or a madman.
    Matthew 5: 11-12
Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me. Rejoice and be glad, because great is your reward in heaven, for in the same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you.
    Romans 2.8
But for those who are self-seeking and who reject the truth and follow evil, there will be wrath and anger.
    Quraan [6. 5]
Indeed, they rejected the truth when it came to them
    Quraan [50. 5]
Nay, but they have denied the truth when it has came to them, so they are in a confused state (cannot differentiate between right and wrong).

i didnt reject any truth my friend,i may not have commented on your post, but that doesnt necessarily mean i didnt think deeply upon it

however,i did make an analysis of your behaviour, and it's accuracy,in my opinion, was just validated by your response, which was oddly constructed,multi-colored,contained only references to previously written works, and was overly addressed

wacky doesnt mean bad though, just means wacky, your appraisal of such a label is up to you,and if i offeneded you,it is not I who must apaologize, but ye who must apologize to oneself. -3:56 Barfalonians

Actually, each color points to something, e.g. greenè quotes, blueè my comments, red è you have to concentrate, and so on, that is my own style :) your signature is multi-colored as your hair in your avatar è just kidding :)

Dear krin, I was discussing about beloved Jesus' father issue, so I have to quote and I have to give many examples because for some people few examples aren't enough, actually there is other examples too but I chose those.

When I read your response those verses crossed my mind so I wrote it down as a comment on your response.

Dear sister, you didn't offend me, and if your intentions was to do so, then it is the same you didn't offend me that because I got used to read and hear such things for being a Muslim and actually I feel nice that because I remember the prophets when they were treated in such way, so it is OK J I aspire to be Jesus' disciple after his return, so I have to get ready from now.

    ?!
    Peace and love
    Yours Sincerely,
    Cat Stevens
