it busted up the front of my truck pretty good, a big husky or something ran out in front of me on the highway . I dont hink it hurt the dog to much as I was doing 130 when i hit it, was probably dead before it knew what happened but damn it there guts and fur I have to cleen off my truck now. ...ewww
actually I did post in the wrong forum, I thought I was in randon random thoughts. too late now If had clue who the owners where i'd sue em for damages. that fricken dog did a lot damage, repair estimate are close to 2 grand. it damaged the bumper, front grill, hood, one fender never would of thought a 50 lb dog could so much damage. -------- edited 130km/h not mph
I think this is the perfect forum. It's more of a True Confession than a Random Thought... though it could be a random thought too.
I certainly wouldn't be putting this on here at all. I'm surprised that you're not having guilt. My first thought would be the poor people who lost their pet not the damn car.
Thats really wrong well doing it may have been a accident but bragging about it isn't Maybe you should go and see if the dog is alive and take it to a vets if it is. If not i think its illegal not to call the police but thats in england. if its dead phone the owners even if you didnt hit it maybe they have been looking for ages!! poor dog
i did call the highway department about removeng the dog. This was on a highway running through a farming aria. If the police figure out who owns it they'll proably fine them, as its against the law to have live stock on the road unatended, dogs included. Farms are requierd by law to have insurace to cover aminals getting onto the road. if i did sue all i'd try to get is repair costs for my truck. and for the record, yeah i feel sorry for the dog. and some kid out there is proabably wondering where his buddy his bugman, my v6 powered f150 cant go 130mph. I was doing 125-130km/h, about 75-80mph, The same speed most other people drive on that road. not that it couldnt have fetched me a large speeding ticket though.
I live on a farm road. People make every effort to keep their animals pinned up but mistakes happen. You were driving too fast for that type of area if it had been a cow you both would be dead.
Ive seen what happens you hit a cow, it isnt pretty. but I was on a 4 lane divided highway with 110km/h speed limit, not just some back road. The kind of back roads your probably thinking of usually have 90-100km/h speed limits. All unposted back raods are maximum 80km/h, incuding gravel and dirt roads.
If you were on a 4 lane divided highway then I was in error. I made an assumption based on your statement that it was a farm area. I withdraw my comment and apologize.
haha i find this quite comical. its the owners fault, as they obviously were leaving the dog unattended. poor kid though. eh live and learn. i miss my doggy lol.
LOL i wish i could see a movie that has someone hitting a cow...god how can you hit a cow...funny though how you hit a dog going that fast and now u have shit all over your front car hahaha i would be laughing
no prb hippy paul, if I dont divulge all the details your going to make asumptions. The real question here is why I care what other people on the internet think about me, man i have to get a life. 40oz, this may surprize you but thoes huge lumbering cows can moove pretty fast when they want to. if a startled a cow runs out of ditch in fornt of you, your in deep shit as they wiegh a few thousand pounds but the problem with cows is that unlike wild animals, they get used to cars, and dont always try get out of the way. Ive driven in free range cattle country since i was 14, and you'll often find a herd of cows walking down the the middle of the road. Even if you honk your horn at em they just sit there and stare at you. i've had to bumper nudge more than a few cows to get them to moove out the way.
