So, who do you reckon has the better castaway show? I guess they are diffeent genre's in that Gilligan's was more funny and Lost is a drama but i'll say Gilligan's was the better.
Gilligan's Island based on the simple fact that Ginger and Mary Ann were both smoking hot (by 1964 standards), and it's a hilarious show.
i really like lost, but i am getting increasingly disapointed with the new episodes. take for example the last episode. it showed us things that we were told in previous episodes, and the ended EXACTLY the same way as the episode before it. they should have just shown a rerun. AGAIN
same here... I really like Lost but it just keeps dragging and dragging...and they leave so many things unreaveled so when they do reveal them (that is if they do) you have forgotten all about it.. Though, I still really like it... Never really could stand Gilligans island, everyone of those characters annoyed me...
It would take work to explain them. They should just take the easy way out and say it was all a dream. Like that now famous end of the season cliff-hanger on Dallas where that dude was in the woman's shower. When the fall season finally opened she said, "Oh! I had this terrible dream!'. Pathetic that people talked about that episode the whole summer. .
Wasn't that the end of the series itself? That she woke up from a nightmare that spanned the entire show.
well the last episode of lost did tell us [maybe, cause you never know, but i am pretty sure of this one] that people who were taking by the others [claire, as well as the people from the other survivors] were "good people" as goodwin told anna-lucia... using this, the reason Ethan would have tried to kill Charlie is that he didnt need/want him because he wasnt a good person, but wouldnt go without claire... this is my sisters idea about Shannon dying: maybe the island is a sort of limbo [as some theories in the past have suggested] and when the character "find what they are looking for" [in this case, shanon wanted someone who wouldnt leave her] the island took her--although this then won't explaine boone probobly, or yeah... oh well, i still love it
I'm still waiting for this 'stuck on an island' craze to subside. Looks like it's going to be around as long as rap. .
I didn't vote, they are possibly the worst shows of all time. Actually lost is worse....how any show can be worse than gilligan's island is beyond me
