i've never even bought my coffee at a starbucks, (there isn't even one around me).

pretty cool flavors, but nothing my local shop couldn't do.

Starcrooks oops I mean Starbucks is a joke!!! Their coffee sucks!!! Business at my coffeeshop has actually increased since Starcrooks came to town. People have gone there and have discovered that Starbucks sucks so they come to the coffeshop where I work to get the real thing.

I am so glad there is no starbucks in my town... (i know NO starbucks  ) because i love the atmosphere in the local coffee houses and cafes. However where i used to live there were at least 5 or 6 in the city centre alone, you really couldn't get away

I'm with patrick I love starbucks. this mornings trip to starbucks was the first meal I was able to keep down in 5 days. I'm not into their weird flavors though I like iced lattes with half a packet of raw sugar or carmel machiatos...oooh and cinnamon rolls...I'm going to go eat the other half of mine right now.

Yeah, I rather like Starbucks. Even before I started working there (yeah, I work there- sue me) I liked it. There's a hell of a lot of fair trade coffee there, and they do amploy a lot of people in third world countries (South America, Ethiopia, etc) so now I like them even more since I started working there and they told us all this. But we don't really have any good coffee shops in this city- there's Tim Hortons, Vito's, and Java Junction. I like the coffee at Java Junction, but they're never open, so I don't feel too bad about taking business away from the smaller shops around here. Oh, and none of those places offer anything made with soymilk :p

Yeah I prefer more of the basic stuff, but no sugar :p Though really my favorite is the chai tea latte... :D I'd kill for a venti chai tea latte and an espresso brownie. :D Damn I'm gonna have to go to Starebucks..

It's not the yuppies who are pretentious, it's people who hang out in coffee houses in general. They scream, "LOOK AT ME! I'M COOL! I DRINK COFFEE AND TEA AND EAT BISCOTTI AND HANG OUT WHERE THEY MAKE IT!".

You're not. You're less interesting than those idiot characters on "Friends" if that's even possible. Ask yourself this question: Would you be more cool if you hung around the barn eating a pork chop?

That having been said, Venti Mocha Valencia, TO GO please.
