Lighthearted: A World Without Men

Could you imagine? No crime and lots of happy fat women!

 

There would be a buttload of crime.

 

There was a movie about the inverse of this.

In the movie space aliens, all homosexual men, descend from space and eradicate all women on earth, "liberating" all the men.

I have not seen this movie and do not agree with it.

The title is charming... If I remember correctly it is, and I quote, "Gay N*ggers from Outer Space".

Without men, who's going to give me a back massage when I've had a very stressed day? Or tickle my neck with their stubbles? or go all goggley-eyed over their baby girls? Women don't do those things. We hog the massages, we don't like our stubble, and we definitely aren't the goggley-eyed over baby girl types....It's daddy's girl, not mommy's girl....

I'd say women going through PMS are probably the most likely to committ a crime, not men

Not to mention, I think women go on diets more so because other women cut down other women. I've never really had a guy call me ugly or fat, but I've had countless girls cut me down like that.

I don't know where I'd be without men. Pretty much the only people I can depend on are men. My dad, my boyfriend, and a good majority of my male friends are far more reliable than my female friends. I would hate to see what a world full of women and no men would be like, we'd kill each other!

 

Oh yeah, by the way I've actually said several times that MY utopia would be... Me, and a world full of men, no women. HAHA. That would be the life.

That's a good question...putting aside the fact that we couldn't prcreate, if we had a world without men, would we have more lesbians, simply because there wouldn't be another option?

 

truly, i get less trouble from men than women. i'd like to giggle at the joke, but for all the love and adoration i have for women, there's a healthy degree of fear and "WTF?" in there, too.

There's an excellent comic/graphic novel series called "Y - The Last Man" (written by Brian K. Vaughan) about this very subject - a plague wipes out every male of every species on earth with the exception of one man and his pet monkey. Granted, it's only one writer's take on a world ruled by women, but it's not as peaceful or utopian as you might expect.

I got my girlfriend and a lot of my friends who don't usually read comics hooked on the series. I think a lot of the gender-minded folk around here would dig it.

Nope, it's a serialized comic. It'd be easier (and less expensive) to find trade paperbacks collecting five or six issues apiece than trying to track down the individual issues. Try Amazon or your local comic book shop. The first volume is called "Unmanned", I believe. Oh, and apparently they're turning it into a movie too ... eventually.

Instead of getting rid of all men, how about just getting rid of certain ones? There might be a few of us that aren't too bad to have around (and we can serve a purpose!).
