I wonder If anyone here tried taking an anxiolytic drug such as oxazepam prior to taking psychedelics and what effect has it had?
Well, years ago, I used to take low doses of benzodiazepines prior to MDMA in order to prevent the clenches and muscle cramps. It didn´t work very well, but I found, that the coming down was not so rapid and unpleasant and (of course) I had less trouble sleeping afterwards. Unfortunately, it also affected the afterglow (much shorter!).
