Then that long painful wait (from jan.) sorta like the entrance to the 'roo and umm the gates to centeroo, and umm the bathroom and hell even the grill cheese line..go #1 grilled cheese.....but its like virginity the pent up wait is half the trip...the 3 day ROO-GASM

ticket cost is around 165 at entry level w/ fees and taxes...I always scoop up a couple and you can buy a few minutes before they actually go on sale....or you can walk on in like a few hundred others

dude BONNAROO is done....its going to be so lame.....the security is going to be out of control....the population is already out of control....the whole thing stinks of CAPITALISM.....but there are many festivals that are smaller, cheaper and have the same acts for the most part.....and you trim off alot of the fat like John Mayer, Dave Matthews, Mars VOlta.....none of that shit.....

Capitalism is Wrong, I agree wholeheartedly! Music is the dividing line in this situation. You can see negative in any aspect of the world if you look for it or you can appreciate the beauty where it lies and be a conduit.
Whenever you are at a show and your uplifted by the music and feel the universe is in alignment at that time and say well hey why can't the whole world see and feel this! Well if it helps spread these enlightening vibes of the soul to the mainstream folk and turn their head in a new perspective maybe it does some good. We are blessed that in the state of the world there is some attempt at unity be it through music, money schemes etc.
Just like a wise man once said "once in a while you get shown the light in the strangest places if you look at it right!"

i totally agree but, i bet the DEA and ATF are gonna come out of the skies, with hundreds upon hundreds of arrests. i just like festivals that aren't so well known, because security is very mellow....the roo these days is a police state.....bad vibes, bad time....gotta have a good environment, or a entire show can be sabatoged...the roo is gone.....there are many good times around the bend.....

Who cares really, I went this past year and it was really great, there was only one person that I saw that got arrested, and it was because he was running around naked knowking down tents. There was just really good vibes there, believe me i wasnt expecting it, i was expecting everyone to be rude bastards with bad vibes, but we made friends with so many people that we see at other festivals alot. Nobody got arrested for drugs....believe me everything was good.

I like going to festivals where you know all the bands playing, but i also like the variety, yeah there mught of been some bad selections but i saw alot of new music that i liked like STS9,Herbie Hancock was playin with John Mayer and acually kept up with Herbie (John also looked spun out of his mind) RJD2, DJ KRuSH and there were classics like Widespread, Allman Brothers, Benevuto Russo Duo with mike gordon (waukeepeg grove!)

    Good band Greater Vibes

Believe me i still want to go to 10,000 lakes festival too

everyone bitches and moans about cops, "the scene" and whatnot..its not that bad. its gotten more than a few of the people to experience something new instead of being stuck in their own little mindset. serioulsy guys, stop being so negative!
