Actually, I'd suggest the library. Any decent Yoga book should have a good few sections about meditation. And then, there's always our good friend Wikipedia http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Meditation

wildmind.net or com or even org has stuff, I forget which site ending.

I'd suggest googling fasting+raw foodism though, thats where your spirit is really at.

I don’t claim to be an expert just have been working on it for sometime I’ve found it is all about clearing my mind. But in order to focus on nothing (No Thing) it cane to me that I must first focus on something pick and object in front of you don't think about it just be with it .... BEING is my goal when thoughts come up which they inevitably will Bless them as a part of your experience then let them go your eyes will naturally close eventually

maybe not the first time then focus on your breathing…. Some say in through your nose out through your mouth. Some say just nose breathing (I’m not exactly sure) but you are working on Self the “right way” is only relevant to you personal experience… Remember not to expect anything just let go….

It is very easy to write this but much harder for me to experience it…oneness and clearness

I try to use this in my every day life breath deep and deal with one thing at a time

    Hopefully this is helpful

Much Luck and Love is all your self-discovering Travels

    Hello beatricequab,

There are many forms of meditation, and people select many styles and subscribe to many beliefs, some of which you can read about in this thread.

Personally what has worked best for me is asking myself a series of questions about my motivatives, or why I want or seek to do something.

I have discovered that in my actions, drives, and motives the desired result has always been happiness. I have also discovered it is the desire to be safe, accepted, and control things that has caused unhappiness.

It is easier to read and intellectually understand this than it is to truly discover it yourself, as it requires effort and desire to achieve these discoveries.

I have found the body to re-act to certain thought patterns and these thought patterns are linked to the certain desires and wants. When you can let go of these bodily sensations (usually a tightness in the chest or stomach area) while holding any certain thought you can naturally clear the mind of the type of thinking that causes uncomfort.

Your mind may wonder as you start this type of meditation, and one of the challanges can be to bring your mind back to your original question of yourself.

    Blessings,
    Paul
