Me AND MOST OF MY SISTERS were raped by a man, OUR FATHER. He was arrested, evidence was taken against him, including rape kits, photographs, and our testimonies.
Night before the trial, all the evidence "disappears". Judge says "no evidence, no charges." and winks at that foul man. He got off.

Yeah, better for the women alright.

Or how about when my biological father kidnapped me. The court didn't look at the fact that he ABANDONED me before I was born, or SIGNED HIS RIGHTS AWAY when I was three, or HARDLY EVER VISITED ME. They said, "poor pitiful man, denied the right to be a father to his child." And because of that, I was kept away from my mother and all my other family for 7 months, before anyone would do anything. My mother even called the president of the United States and he said he didn't see the problem.

Did they look to see the emotional strain it was putting on me, as an 8 year old child? Did they monitor my father's home to see that he was never around and I was being watched by my abusive step-mother? NO. NO FUCKING WAY.

Not fair for men? Yeah, right. I've seen more men get off scot-free, or on next to no charges so many times, it's not funny. I've seen men allowed to go back to their families to abuse their wives and children time after repeated time. I've seen women go to the police or social workers only to be told that they're lying.

So go blow smoke up someone else's ass. I'm not buying this "poor pitiful man" shit at all. Any woman that's been abused, or raped, or any one that has known someone else in those situations sees that it's not the men mistreated. It's more often than not the children.

Aned A&O is right again. I can also atest to seeing women awarded their children when they shouldn't have anything to do with them. I've seen them start fights and put men in jail for punching them. We're all fucked. But more than anything, it's the children that are fucked over repeatedly. If you can't speak up for yourself, you don't get represented.

Yup, I agree...and what is our future if we fuck with our children? Seriously.

I give you props for being strong, but a lot of children who go through things like that aren't.

 

I will admit i looked at the issue abit on the bias side, however I am just standing up for my gender as many males get abused etc without fighting back and i feel strongly about the issue. It would be nice to have total equality but i dont think it would ever happen, for that I blame old religoius sterotypes, maybe if humanity united instead of viewing eachother diffrently and accpeted each others faults there would be no problems..Peace

As long as people with narrow minded, stereotypical vies are around, nothing will be equal. And, yes, it sucks. All you can do, is do your best to make something of yourself, and make a life for yourself. If you choose to stand up for men, and protest, or otherwise get active, be my guest... that's great. Just don't be disappointed if things don't turn out exactly the way you hoped for.

i could never imagine doing something to a poor little baby no matter how desperate or panicked i was. It makes me sad to know that we live in a world where people can be so cruel. How can you even call her a human becuase the way i see....no true human being could ever to that to a sweet little child. only a monster, a sick-sick monster could do that.

I just dont understand how someone could do this. I understand hiding a pregnancy to a point but not to the point where you give birth in you room alone like that. On top of that her excuse for throwing the baby away was that she thought it was dead! If I had given birth on my own and the child died I would be in such a depressed state I would probobly hug the child untill someone took it away, I would not put it in the bag beside my bed then chuck it in the closet and go on with my day. I have no doubts this woman is unstable but to not put her in an istitution of some kind, criminal or mental. for an extended period of time just seems...well fucked up to me

I've seen stories on the news about churches that have "drop off " shutes for unwanted babies. If you don't want your child there are plenty of options out there besides killing it. Mentally ill or not, what she did wasn't right. I've seen people get more jail time for burglary. Stories like this just make me sick.
