ok a lot of you may know thsi trick but i know a lot wont, and i recon its really cool.
it may be a little ahrd to explain..

ok you know you can get lighters with the adjustable knob at the front, for making the flame bigger or smaller? well u can adjust it so the flame reraches sometimes a foot long, and sometimes a couple of inches wide.

• take of the metal cover for the top of the lghter (usually comes of easily and goes back on easily.
• beneath the little flame size dial or wahever it is, there should be (ive seen it identical for many lgihters) a little white screw like thing attatches to the dial
• turn teh dial anti clock wise all the way up that it can.
• replace the metal cover
• keep the lighter away form your eyes, and always make sure the lighter is turned off before u put it back in your pocket (some can leak fluid, u jsut need to shake the lighter)

whilst lighting your weed with thsi flame is dangerous to your face sometimes, as long as you point it away from you and not onto plastic or rubber, and not above like a bed of straw or polyester.

anyway this si really cool to use when stoned, the flame is beautiful, its exciting, and hillarious seeing someone light a bowl with it.

jsut make sure your not stupid with it. it might classify as a weapon.

 

it's also good to remember that unless the lighter is refillable it will run out very fast... if I want to play with a big flame I use my oxy-acetylene torch

 

dammit when lighting a cone last ngiht i accidentally used the fllame lighter... i cudnt work out the smell of burnt hair for ages, i thought i must have done a huge fart or something

 

Actually, after taking off the metal cap, you can just adjust it upwards, then LIFT the black tab upwards and move towards to lower-end of the spread (without moving the white gear below it). Be careful, though; I once caught my arm on fire in the middle of science class playing with one of these things.

Another fun thing to do with a lighter (the cheaper the better) is to hold it upside down, and throw that thing (top down, of course) onto any hard surface (pavement)...preferably a good distance from yourself. The pressure inside the gas chamber will cause the lighter to literally burst and shatter into a hundred pieces, with a loud "pop".

 

i never seem to throw it right, they sjut keep hitting teh ground

 

another good one, requires two lighters

remove the spring and flint from one lighter. wrap one end of the spring around the flint so you are able to hold the other end of the spring and heat the flint without burning your fingers. heat the flint until it starts glowing red. throw it against the ground, wall, little children, basically anything hard that you wont care if its damaged.

Flint's also pretty fun to play with.

Wet your "cigarette" abit, then take a lighter and, without actually pressing the gas release, spark your wheel over the cigarette, keeping in mind to turn the cigarette over to get good coverage.

Light that baby up and watch the sparks fly; much more fun in a dark room.

 

Onetime I tried that shit with the lighter, I burned my eyebrow. I was really drunk at the time

 

me and my friend got a flame that was almost a foot high and must have been atleast an inch in diameter. it was fuckin awesome, and we could see the gas level drop quickly.
