Organ Donar?

I showed Mike my new license tonight and he was like "oh no... you're an organ donar. They'll let you die."

And I've heard that before...

But I think people are just paranoid and that is silly. Or is it?

What do you think?

I've worked in a hospital before.....so this is SILLY!

 

That's a ridiculous statement. It makes no sense to let someone die to save someone else.

 

i'm not an organ donor.
not cuz of the than they'll let you die reason or something.
i don't want some piece of me to live on while the rest is dead. i mean, that would fuck up your soul, man.

 

Or maybe it would bless your soul for saving a life.

 

hahaha nope, you'd be traumatised, reliving some horrible situation of that organdonor transplant thing, and a soul needs no blessing oldie. but i don't wanna be stuck here in this dimension when i die cuz part of my body is still living
it's difficult enough already without someone else to run round with my organs, and that other persons soul is ready to ie, dont mean they're gonna die soon after the transplantthing, but the soul is ready so no, i'm totally against it

 

whenever I croak, I won't be needing whatever bodyparts docs take out to save others. By refusing to be an organ donor you're basically saying that you don't care if another person lives or not.
If I'm dead, WTF do I need my eyes, heart, lungs, kidneys or whatever else for...if another person is sick from failing body parts or in a car accident then why not let them live?

 

I am an orgarn and blood donor and i feel really good about them.

 

I had to recieve blood when I had open-heart surgery while I was in high school and have given blood a few times in the last 15 yrs.

you can donor blood every four months. I have done it 15 times over the last 6 years

 

I believe the soul and body are seperate. The body is just a shell to house the soul until it's time for the soul to move on. Once it does the body is just an empty shell.

 

true! but, the soul however is something that has the nasty habit to focus on situations too, thats why so many people have 'ghosts' in their homes. souls re-living situations the cant let go.

 

Which has nothing to do with organ donation.

 

yes it does silly, cuz when you let one part of you live, soul recognizes that as you being alive and will stay attached to this dimension

 

im not an organ donor... when i went and renewed my license, the guy looked at me funny and tried to make me feel bad, but that never works so yeah....

 

so if any family member needed a kidney or 1/2 a liver in order to continue living...do ya mean that you wouldn't consider organ donation just because ya want to peserve your own soul for after you would be dead. Basically that would be saying "sorry folks, but my future soul is worth more then your present life"

 

yeah they look at you like you're bad, wanna make you feel guilty, like you're not a good person or something.
if you're a donor, well it's your choice,so it's fine with me as long as you don't have that 'look at me i'm a donor attitude' hope your friends know of someone who can do rites the passage for ya.

my family basically abandoned me so I say fuck them...

anyways thats different then wanting to be an organ donar...but again, those who dont are selfish right?? anyways, people can choose what they want, so dont try to make others feel bad cause your opinion differs...

 

yeah, the guy was like staring me down and kept saying are you sure, are you sure...im like yep...
whatever, if people want to assume im horrible for that, then so be it...just cause my license doesnt have a fucking heart on it, doesnt make me a selfish or horrible person..
damn, people are starting a lynch here or something over peoples own preferences(sp)...
