There is a book out that I had to read for school it's called Media Control by Noam Chomsky. It's a pretty good book about propaganda and the role the media plays in our lives. It's a small book and cost about 9 dollars at Barnes and Noble. Check it out. Hope that helps.

Thats a really annoying font and color to read.

When I was in middleschool, the paper did an article on my school. In the story they quoted the principal, but later I found out that they made the quote up, she never said that.

We had two computer labs at my middle school, there was a computer in every classroom, and there were a bunch of those crappy blue macs in the room where they make things out of wood (I had the class for like 2 weeks, and all I did was play on the computer). Then in the paper, they had a picture of a kid with a keyboard on his lap, sitting in a chair, and the computer was on a desk or something, in an empty room. Then it talked about how our school lacked computers.

Thats just the local paper. The local media is bs, its not worth watching. They never talk about important supreme court cases or anything, they've made it their mission in life to report every damn murder in the state "So and so was found dead stabbed 16 times tueday..." and so on.

The media twisting the facts? Would that ever happen? It is my opinion that EVERY single story that the media puts out there is twisted in some way. You can always, always find a different media group that has facts that are exactly opposite of the first media group. So which one is right? Its all about the veiwers perception.
