I don't get it. The style of jeans. For outrageous prices, you can buy name brand jeans with holes already in them! My jeans are worn out and old, with many holes, Does this mean I am fashionable? I am going to start a line of jeans. I will take the pants I wear while working on cars, the ones with all the oil and grease stains, rips here and there, and sell them for $20-$40 a pair. I have a pair of jeans with the whole crotch ripped out, I think I will sell them for $45.

lol.. my friends and i actually were just discussing this on saterday. we went to Abercrombie and Fitch to freak out the squares (it was for a homework project) and we looked at price tags. My friends (we were in the guys section, so I didnt compare my clothes) had jeans that they got at SUPER cheap and they have worn them a ton.. and the jeans that were for sale for like 80+ bucks were in worse condition. .. it makes no sense.

They wouldn't sell them if people didn't buy them. Attributed to P.T. Barnum: "There's a sucker born every minute"

heh, one of my friends started working at a cafe recently where they aren't allowed to wear anything with holes, unless they purchased it that way :p what silliness. I think it looks hideous to be perfectly honest.

I usually handle messing up my own jeans.

Then again, I lead a rugged life. :H

I spent 200$ on my last pair of jeans. They have a hole in them by the back pocket above my ass. It looks GOOD but isn't that well placed as I've dropped my wallet down my pants a few times.

200$ Canadian mind you, so thats like 4 bucks American I think.

It was 200 well spent. These jeans make my ass look fantastic, and ladies love them.

I'm thrift store shopper personally. I don't feel that I should pay more than $5-$10 for a pair of jeans.

wow, you would never ever get jeans that cheap over here! I'm paying about $95 for a pair of jeans. Some of my mates are paying $320 for a pair, i think that's waaaay too much. But it's like Diesel or Levi's so they think it's ok

I've always thought buying brand new "used" jeans for big $$$ was stupid. Imagine seeing a room full of people with cookie-cutter factory ripped jeans on....silliness.

I thrift shop, or wear my own until they fall apart. I've always loved patches...

am i the only person here who is completely oblivious to fashion? i mean, i'm totally fashion-retarded. i have no understanding or ability to comprehend. i had no idea holey jeans were hip. i just threw away a pair of dave's, because i know he won't wear them. i've never spent more than $20 on a pair of jeans.
