I am constantly having to blow my nose and I have tried different pills and sprays but nothing works. Most nose problems include conjestion but not mine. I have to blow it or the feeling of the built up mucus drives my crazy. It's like having an itch you can't scratch. No kidding I have to blow it every five minutes at work and still blow it a lot when I'm not at work. I have to blow it while I can before I have to wait on a customer at work, I gotta sneak and get it in before someone keeps me from blowing it ( I work around food, so it's not like I can blow my nose around a customer without someone saying "Oh you need to wash your hands"). If I washed my hands everytime I blew my nose I would be blowing my nose and washing my hands over and over. My hands don't get any mucus on them and it they did, then I would wash my hands. Now I have a new job working with food and the place is not going to slow like my previous job(which is going out of business around here). I'm really worried about it. I usually have always carried a box of tissues with me to my department, but I'm afraid they will say something at my new job so I have to carry (and I don't have much room in my pockets) those little trial size tissues and I know they won't last even if I carry three. *Sighs*, what in the world can do about this if you have any suggestions please please tell me some. Thank you.
you might have allergies, i'm allergic to chalk and for grades 1-5 the same thing happened to me everyday. you could get one of those cloth tissues that you can use a couple times or like a towel or something..don't use the sprays
I don't know how to help you, but I will say you should wash your hands after you blow your nose. More stuff comes out than just visible mucus. That's not cool to be passing that along to paying customers.
I have the exact opposite problem. I never have enough mucus. I live in florida, and you would think all the humidity would keep it from getting dry, but nope. It gets painful sometimes too. When I get sick though, my nose is always stuffed up. When I had the flu, I would blow my nose and not 10 seconds later, it would be stuffed up again. Then you get all that rotting mucus, smells so bad when you blow your nose. I suggest to mix yourself up some salt water and spray that daily, it kills infection without irritating your mucus membrane(which alcohol based sprays always will). Also, go buy this stuff called 4Way nasal decongestant. I swear by the stuff when I'm sick. If you have low tolerance, one spray will last you for 3 to 5 hours. See, tolerance is the problem though. Your body gets dependant on it to open up your sinuses. If you use it too much, they won't ever open up like they should. The only way you would be able to get them open is with the spray, so be careful. I gaurantee you that your problems will stop when you use this stuff.
