Pfft, theres nothing wrong with liking your second cousins, or acting on it. My second cousins are all Christian Anti-incest type and they would never go for it, but they aren't that interesting anyway.

I think that the "1% more likely to have birth defects" is madeup bullshit. I don't care what the Catholic church says, because that is stupid.

i suppose in the sort of family where you're raised to see them as siblings it would be strange. just the same as step siblings and adopted siblings. but other than that, why do you think they have mandatory blod test before marriage anway? just to make sure you're not fucking/marrying your sister or whatever. but now we've got all these people who aren't getting married or checking on that, so who knows? maybe you are fucking your sister.

 

um, no the 1% added chance for first cousins is true. i didnt learn that from the catholic church and if you actually read my post correctly you would have realized that i was saying the catholic church IS full of bullshit....

1% isnt really that high of a risk considering how many women have children after the age of 40 and their risk increases by 10%...

anyways, that 1% statistic i gave, i got from my antropology and sociology classes and it's backed by scientific research and scientific journals... not the catholic church, thank you.

 

my 1st cousin is pretty hot, we took a bath together once, or twice but it's been a wile cause she lives in england, nothing more than that though

 

i have an attractive cousin, and i don't really see anything wrong with it. i personally wouldn't act on it because i think of my cousins as kind of siblings, i just have less contact with them as my actual sibling.
