Hi i have new dreads, they are looking a bit fluffy cos i just bleached them, i dont have money to order expensive dread lok products off the net, so tell me what you use to keep your dreads nice, peanut butter? turkey shnizzle?
i use nothing certainly dont use peanut butter just let tyhem be fluffy, its a long process dreading hair, if you try to rush it you will regret it in the future.
I heard that beeswax works and it isnt that expensive--also maybe a really thick pomade like Murrays might do the trick--beeswax you might have to get at a beauty supply shop but Murrays you can find at a drug store usually
i haven't had my dreadies all that long (only a bit more than 3 weeks) but all i do is shampoo and separate and they're coming along really well. some days they're fluffy, somedays they're knot (he he he). i wouldn't suggest putting anything in them.......it would be way to hard to get out. cheers and good luck with your locks
avoid bees wax. it prevents knotting, goops the hair together and created a peerfect condition for mould to grow.
just dont put nething in them, eveyones dreads are fluffy at the begining. it will go away as they start to tighten up more. if u do put nething in them you'll regret it later on. peace~
Murray's is THE worst thing you could ever put in your hair. You don't need to buy expensive products. You don't need to do anything. The bleaching will make them fluffy for a couple of days, then they'll knot up and get nice and tight REALLY fast. Just have patience, roll them in your hands, and put salt water in them if you really want to do something.
