Ekoostik Hookah. This band rocks, even though they use redundant chord progressions. They are from a place sort of close to where I live (I don't want to say excatly where I live cause this is the internet). I've seen e'm live twice 4 years ago, (never went to Hookaville though cause my parents wouldn't let me). I've heard they rock at the festivals. The first time I went, I was sober (cause of the way my parents were). The second time I smoked some "synthetic" opium out of my dude's glass. (I really hope it was just opium cause it was clear). I got really high and started dancing around (literally the only time i've ever danced at a concert in my life, cause I'm a very anxious, and introverted person), and it was fun. It was a really good light show. They really jam well. I'd say not as good as Phish or WSP or SCI, but alot better than Moe (no offense to anyone, I like them to, but this band rocks). The chords are really cliched, but Katz can play the piano like a mu*** fu**** riot. The dude was playing while smoking a joint, playing with one hand (chords and soloing at the same time, with one hand!). My favorite songs by them are The Loner, Hookaville, The Giant, and Caribou (way too bluegrassy but still cool). Has anyone heard of them? If so, please tell me you've heard "The Loner".

It's got to be the dead, just because they were so influencial on everyone.... So totally.... even though Phish is great, I'm still goin with the dead.
