I was looking around on a web site a few weeks ago and i saw a thing you blow smoke into and it gets rid of the smell. I know about the whole toilet paper roll and dryer sheets stuff but i want something thats actually made to get rid of the smell. A link would be fantastic.
i've seen something called "hello neighbor" at headshops, which looks like a small spoof. might be good for concerts, but its not gonna be worth it for everyday use. go with a homemade spoof.
you don't need any premade deoderizers other than ozium. three small sprays into a room one bowl has been smoked in and the smell will be COMPLETELY replaced with a scent of citrussy cleaning product, with no remnant of marijuana smoke after about 15 seconds. still, until you spray it, there is a small amount of smell, so you can instead use the dryer sheets to severely reduce the smell of smoking as it's building up, then spray the ozium when you're done to make absolutely sure. blow the tube out a window. this WORKS....ozium is a heavy duty air freshener that will knock out most unwanted smells, and is used in garages and hospitals as well. it just happens to be perfect for getting rid of pot smoke, and can often be found in headshops as well as car and hardware stores. seriously, i haven't tried "hello neighbor" or other similar products, but this method WORKS, especially if you're really diligent about it. if smell is an issue for you, you'll find investing 15 bucks in several cans of ozium will be VERY worth your money, and it will last you for many sessions.
I used to have some shit that smelled EXACTLY like those Terry's Chocolate Oranges (that you beat) and it was fuckin awesome. Never tried it for smoke, but this thread reminded me of it.
aah yeah, you could buy that drippy stuff that youre supposed to drip on cigs, ya know? the flavored stuff. doesnt smell so strongely of bud if ya smoke a bowl with the drippy stuff soaked in.
lol, ozium, that reminds me of a time when me and a bunch of friends were tripping, and the mission was to get ozium...why? i have no idea, but it felt amazing when we finally bought some, felt like we really accomplished something
OK I also have a problem with smell. I have no windows because my room is in the basement. I know that I can make a hippy tube but i need good directions. Anyone perfect the technique for making one?
BUY A CAN OF OZIUM anyway, if you need a groove tube....ummm....you really need directions to make it? hell, its dryer sheets in a tube. it's not exactly organic chemistry or rocket science, just shove some of those shits in a tube of some sort. easiest for most people is to get a TP tube cause they're literally just about everywhere. a plastic water bottle with plenty of holes poked in the bottom works, too. if you're having trouble with the sheets falling out the end, a finger or peice of tape over the middle will work.
I personally make my spoof/hippy tube not out of a cardboard tube, but out of a 20oz bottle of pop. I stab 5 or so good knife slits in the bottom of it, and stuff a ton of drier sheets into it. It works better if you crumple up the drier sheets more, and cheap drier sheets suck. I also experimented with adding aquarium quality carbon(The stuff aquariums sell to neutralize pet odors... it is also what growers use to make carbon air scrubbers for there plants.) The carbon is a bit of work to play with, and make work, but I have found it to improve the spoof alot.
