does weed go bad?

i had to get my stash out of my house for a month

i had about 6 grams of killer bud, will it still be okay to do in a month?

It will be fine if you kept it dry, check it for mold.

Other than it being really dry it will be fine to smoke.

 

i take back what i said, u wanna grow as much mold on it as possible and so leave it out in a damp place for six months. it'll get u higher.

That's true, but misleading.

Heat, light, these thing cause THC to deteriorate. If you keep it in a SEALED (mason jar, gong nug car, NO FUCKING CORKS they aren't air tight and will turn your buds to dust) It will get BETTER with age. Why do you think people cure their bud for 3-9 months?

But if you keep it sitting on top of your TV in a baggie it will turn to shit.

 

U mean if I put my pot in a proper container to age a bit , it will get a better taste?

Only time bud goes 'bad' is like with budrot and BS like that. My guess is you're not dealing with tree at that stage, so keep it in a sealed glass container like a mason jar as someone already said. Baggies are no good.

 

Taste, smell, and smoothness all GREATLY improve the longer you cure your bud. This is why most low quality bud smells like shit and is harsh, becuase they don't "waste" time curing it. Even with really nice bud if you just dry it and smoke it it won't taste as good, and won't be that smooth.
