A few months ago I had a dream that was totally unrelated to me, but hey... anyway, scientists were using some new telescope that could see further than any previous one. They were studying a new-found star when they saw something that looked different behind it than anywhere else in space. They stopped looking at the star and started studying that strange backdrop... what they found was the edge of the universe. They discovered that the universe didn't just taper off, that there was a defined "ledge", that it just dropped off. What is even more strange is that the next day I was telling one of my friends, "I don't remember if I saw this on the news, or if I read it in the paper or online... but did you hear that scientists found the end of the universe!?" And he responded with something like, "What the fuck?" ...at that time I didn't even realize it was a dream. I asked my mom, she didn't know. So I came home and had to research and just came to the conclusion that it had to have been a dream... or a prophetic insight?? haha
Thats really cool. Did you actually see what the edge looked like or did you just know that the scientist were looking at the edge? The end of the universe has always mystified me and I would love to have a dream of this nature. I dont think that scientist will physically see the edge of the universe anytime in the near future (but you never know), but maybe someone will discover a scientific law that explains what happens at the end of space.
