I just finished re-reading an old favorite, Waiting for Godot. It's actually a 2-act Theatre of the Absurd play by Samuel Beckett... I think it was originally written in French... I dunno but if you haven't heard of it and you're into weird Theatrical literature, it's a must-read. ^^ Just thought I'd share, and see if anyone else has read it. Lucky's my favorite, for reasons unknown but time will tell...
ah i love Absurdity! Ionesco is my favourite absurdist personally... Waiting for Godot was so fantastically pointless and weird -- it's great!!
I loved that book. My father had it and i stumbled across it one day bored and I fell in love with its absurdity.
Ive read that book too. Weird but great. funny, i got my copy of that book from my dad too. My dad was a lit major so he knows all the classics and has turned me on to quite a few great reads that i would have otherwise not fallen upon. good book
I never read the book but I saw a production of it here in Nicaragua in the national theater. I thought it was a great performance and the absurdity of the whole play was enticing.
I had to preform it for drama a couple of years ago (played Vladimir, if you were wondering) At the time it was surreal in a WTF this is stupid way. Now with hindsight I can appreciate how good it is. TTFN Sage

I read "Waiting for Godot" in my senior year of college. I really didn't get that story, and I thought it was kinda pointless. But I got an A on my paper about that drama.
