I saw this film on Friday (opening day here in the Midwest) and LOVED it. It's a Jim Henson Production and the cinematography is VERY pleasing to the eye. Not to mention the storyline was incredible. If you liked Alice in Wonderland or The Wizard of Oz, I HIGHLY recommend it. Has anyone who has seen it have any thoughts?
I saw it twice this weekend with both my daughters 21 &15 , (interesting, in that has a mother/ daughter coming of age theme) as well as excellent dipictions of our dream states and subconcsious shadow-self themes. Gorgeous yet simple, elegant and deep, it has fantastic characters, but mostly a true sense of the absurditities and chaos of the dream world.. woven into a story line we can all relate to..finding our individuality while nurturing love! A+
