As I was driving from Manchester, TN to home, I stopped at a Waffle House to take a nap parked in the parking lot. This was a few days after taking acid. I closed my eyes and I saw hallucinations that were even more vivid than those which the acid gave me! And I was certainly awake: I saw a strange, beautiful orange shape, and then I saw a face that was somewhere in between looking real and looking like a ghost. The visuals were pretty random. It was a very brief moment, but I was very conscious. I then went to sleep, but at any point I could have opened my eyes if I wanted to.

I didn't get much sleep at Bonnaroo: maybe 15 minutes here, maybe 15 minutes there, maybe (at most) a couple of hours here and there. So I was very sleep deprived. I am thinking it was either this or the acid, or a combination of the two, but most likely sleep deprivation.

Anyone else experience something similar? I am talking about hallucinations while fully conscious, not ones that are moments before sleeping or while losing consciousness, which are common.
