Too ruggedly pristine to be real
Can truths be told in the flash of a glimpse
    Trying to fight my mind
While it stirs these moments into fiction
Shock turned splendor from the instant
    A simple phrase was exchanged
I try so hard not to drift away
    Fantastic color ballads float
    Preening as they go
    Asking myself half-hearted questions
Knowing full well the answer will not be the means
    If morality is vanity
    I'm a simple peasant
    Caressing milky gazes
    Thawing out frozen fingertips
Thrown at the mercy yet again
Of a flow undetected in our state
    Meditate on mediocracy
    Hypocritical response
    Yesterday's remorse is buried
    I am anew
    Take it as you wish
